EDUCATIONAL PROJECT

The Educational Project aims to raise awareness to the educational purposes of the institution, as well as its organizational aspects in an organized way, considering the needs of the community it serves.

Knowing who we are, defining what school we want to be and what goals we want to achieve, is fundamental to outline the plan that leads us to reach the goals defined.
APIA Educational Project is entirely based on preschool framework law, which establishes as a general principle:
“Preschool education is the first stage of basic education in the process of lifelong learning, and it is complementary to the educational activity of the family, with which it must establish a close relationship, favoring a balanced development of children. The objective is their full integration into the society as autonomous, free and caring persons”. (1997, p. 15)
This principle underlies the whole articulation of the law. The general pedagogical objectives defined in the curricular guidelines derive from it for OCEPE’s preschool education.
